July 2017

Dear reader,

In this month’s edition of our PROGRESS-TT newsletter you will read from Technology Transfer Offices having received coaching and mentoring support from our Capacity Building Programme. Direct feedback from TTO managers is essential to us and to the rest of the TT community to help us understand to what extent the approach used as part of PROGRESS-TT actually added value to TTOs’ processes and contributed to building their skills and competences. On the other hand, the views of coaches and mentors having assisted TTOs as part of the project are also very useful to collect to be able to see both sides of the coin.

For those TTOs that were not able to access the mentoring and coaching programme, you may have attended one of our 14 learning events (training sessions, workshops, webinars or boot camps) held to date; 298 participants have actually taken part so far, rating the events good to excellent in 97% of cases. Two final events are planned for the autumn which we encourage you to join: a three-day immersive Boot Camp at Philips IP & Standards in the Netherlands held in collaboration with Royal DSM and a one-day workshop on access to finance in collaboration with the Italian association of TTOs, Netval, which will be held in Venice, Italy. More information is available below and at our website event page.

Best regards,
Célia Gavaud, PROGRESS-TT Project Coordinator
